Mountains … They can be beautiful, majestic, and awe-inspiring when you’re on the peak.

But when a mountain stands before you, it can seem imposing, defeating, and demoralizing. Especially if you don’t feel like you have what it takes to overcome it.

You may have recognized by now that I’m not just talking about physical mountains. No, I’m talking about the mountains of addiction, debt, conflict, and pain.

While on the surface, challenges can look impossible and feel incredibly daunting, they can actually be opportunities for God to do something miraculous, wonderful, and beyond our wildest dreams.

Think about it. If it weren’t for challenges… We wouldn’t grow in our relationship with Jesus. If it weren’t for trials, we wouldn’t need the help of the Holy Spirit. You see …

Mountains are not meant to stop us, but lead us to find our strength in the Lord.

Personally, in the days when my faith has been challenged or tested, I declare to the mountain before me, “I will not let you overcome me. With God, I will overcome you.”

As you release your faith and do what you can do, God will do what He can do — perform miracles!
